Live life in your 20’s, these are some of the best years of your life. Make sure you live it with no regrets.
How to live life in your 20’s
Have a couple of relationships, before you find “the one”.
Enjoy your single life and go out with your friends. Meet new people and have a blast. Dating different types of people enables you to know what you do and do not like in a partner.
Keep in mind if you find “the one” early on, obviously don’t let them go.
See the world!
Even if it isn’t overseas. Try and explore new places. Don’t get caught up in one place. Chances are you are going to settle one day. Now isn’t the time to be settling.
It’s difficult on a student budget, but it isn’t impossible. Go out, see the world.
Do what you love.
Love painting, writing and singing your own songs? Then do it! Do the hobbies that you love. Make time for yourself and do the things that you like.
Care less about stupid things. It’s not worth it worrying about all the drama, cut it all out.
Honestly, think about it. How many of your parents’ friends are from their school/university years? Odds are probably not so much. Here are the facts. You are going to lose friends while you are young. The faster you deal with that the better of you will be.
Go to festivals.
Festivals are great! They have great people and awesome vibes. You just have to find the right festival to go to. When you are older the crowd of people and loud music might not be your scene anymore and you really don’t want to miss out on all the fun.
Your series will always be there, your bed will always be there, but your youth won’t stick around forever. Go out with your friends and do as many things as you can. Don’t go all “yes man” on yourself, but get those experiences
Try new things.
Trying new things can be scary, yet exciting. Get out of your comfort zone and go for it!
Try as many things as you can. Take classes and learn new skills. You will never have as much time to do other things than in your 20’s.
Grind. Work hard.
Grind in your 20’s and I’m not talking about grinding “up in the club”. Grinding as in work hard. There is no better time to start working on your future than now. Get that Degree you always wanted behind your name and work your ass off for it.
No one can ever take away your education. If you start working now you will be settled when you are older.
Start getting into the habit of saving.
This one is a bit more serious, but the benefits that you will have after learning how to save is enormous. Don’t go getting all protective over your money now. Remember you are still young and you have loads of things to still see and do. It is going to take major discipline to get right.
But if you start saving in your 20’s you will learn the habit to save when you are older.
Only save a small percentage of your money a month and increase it as you go on. You will see your savings accumulate as time goes on.
If you are keen on saving money and can’t seem to get out with your budget try these 8 strategies to save money. Put the money that you saved in a savings account.
